doubt it for the online tests, but at one AC I had, we did some trainee networking. The trainees were asking us about the exercises and said they had to trial run them a few months ago lol, written case study and presentation and group lol.

just remember once you finally get that TC, that doesn't mean you are done with ACs haha

I am too 😬 no clue what to expect but I hope they are telling the truth when they say there is nothing specific to prepare...
Is anyone else confused/nervous about how long the Kirkland & Ellis assessment day is, and if that means the format of the activities has changed from previous years?
Yeah same here I have no clue what to expect. The day is so much longer and they haven’t explained what we’re even doing

Good point, prolly not especially if you’re a second year trainee🥲
Imagine being in your first seat and the pressure of knowing you messed up a sample ac😭 (I still believe it won’t have any effect considering they don’t get to prep for it😆).

they don't get to prep but firms expect you to have more commercial knowledge and commercial awareness as a trainee than ever before...

haha yea... you wouldn't want to mess up as a second year trainee...there goes that NQ interview and role 😭

I just completed the critical thinking test for Milbank and the evaluation of arguments section had 5 options instead of the conventional 2 options. There were no instructions either it just went on to the next section and gave options Very Strong argument, strong arguments, fairly strong argument, fairly weak argument, weak argument and very weak argument. does anyone have an instruction sheet or guidelines for these? what constitutes a strong argument compared to very strong or fairly strong, and what constitutes a fairly weak argument and the difference between family weak and strong?
