And does anyone have experience applying for paralegal roles in London (or other cities). The options at home will be very slim so I'm thinking I might just try and find a decent-paying legal adjacent role in London but I imagine they'd be wary If i was needing to relocate.

I was unaware, I dont even know what they would look for in the first stage tbh. I think if there is a cutoff it will be 60-70%, but this is my own estimate.

Guys following question: i know that firms usually call with VS offers, and some even call with PFOs and then send an email if you don’t reply. However, when it comes to offers: if one misses the call, would the offer come per email just as a PFO would? Or do firms tend to wait for you to call back and give offers exclusively by call? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with experience

Hi! I missed a call this morning from a firm who offered me a VS with them. They left a voicemail and asked me to call back. I saw it an hour later and they weren't annoyed or anything. They said they would email a few days after (once they've called everyone I suppose) but the call is just to put you out of the wait, the email will still come either way from my experience.

hi @Abbie Whitlock lucky enough to have a VS at a firm and waiting to hear back from another firm for ages. could you please give me some advice on how to phrase a polite follow up email to that firm? i’m cautious about not coming across rude haha
