2022 or 2023 lol. i've already done the GDL but i paid for it.
i've heard that they do the checks 3 months before the start date or just after you get the tc offer. is that true?
thanks :)
do u know if and when i can hear back about whether they have further questions or whether i've passed? i can't find any info about this on the emails or online
kirkland? latham? might be wrong on this though :(
i guess that the ranking websites can be useful e.g. https://chambers.com/guide/uk?publicationTypeGroupId=1&practiceAreaId=717&subsectionTypeId=1&locationId=11814
hey just to follow up i'm still waiting to hear back about my checks (been 2 weeks) and i remembered you saying this
i had a question:
if the agency people get a negative sort of reply from a company: "we don't remember him/her" - how do they get back in touch with you to follow up? do they...
@Jessica Booker
hello again
to follow up on the thread: i have submitted and sent off the form.
however in filling it out i noticed that i had claimed to be working abroad for my entire university holiday whereas i actually came back to the UK several days earlier than that.
is it possible...
thank you for another amazing explanation... i really value the time you spend helping us :)
so in grad recruiter lingo "formal placement" = reference provided while "informal placement" = no reference provided?
just a question: what are the consequences of the experience being found to be an 'informal' placement? i communicated in my app that all of my work experiences were informal in the sense that they arranged with friends/family/contacts etc... there's no documentation for them really... certainly...
i think that it's the norm. i certaintly don't expect more feedback from a big firm like slaughter and may... they probably have hundreds or thousands of applicants for a dozen places... :'(
