Thank you! Once I gain access, I'll have a look through the intranet and see if it's part of their policy! Thank you for pointing this out to me! Hopefully, it will be okay!
I think some later dates are available for the AC but will have to double-check this! I am actually due to start this...
Thank you for your reply! So it's a permanent role.
With regards to letting me work in another firm for the vacation scheme, I assume this will be stated in the contract? And if the contract doesn't refer to it, then am i good?
What if I delayed my interview that's coming up next week to late...
Hi Jessica,
I hope you are well! I am due to start a paralegal role later this week and I have 2 ACs for vacation schemes coming up next Wednesday and the following Thursday.
I really don't want to create a bad impression as I've been applying for paralegal work for a while and had no luck and...
Hey! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions! I am sorry if this question has been answered before!
If there is an urgent task that needs to be completed and an associate/partner who is in charge of that matter - is away from the office - what is the best course of...
It's quite hard to say, but I think it's probably done in batches! I know lots of firms that recruit on a rolling basis and run interviews/ACs right through into March - so given that Linklaters was non-rolling and they have a tonne of VS places - I doubt they get all of their ACs done in 2 weeks!
Would you recommend taking the test on a laptop or phone?
also, before the numerical and verbal reasoning section - are you told that this section is next? I was thinking of taking the games based stuff on my phone since hopefully my reaction time is faster and then doing the numerical and...
Hey! So you submit an initial application and if that’s successful, you’ll be sent a situation judgment test (im not sure if everyone gets one of these but it does look like they go through your application first before deciding to send you the test)
then if you meet their benchmark - you will...
What percentile was this? They weigh it based on percentile - I've heard someone got 38/40 but 60th Percentile!
Also, from what people have been posting, it looks like they base it more on the CAPP score than the WG! So don't worry too much about your WG score!
Yup! Mine is the exact same thing - its been like that since the moment i submitted the WG like half a week ago - so not sure if it means anything! People who applied for the winter VS, got a reply within 2 weeks of the deadline!
Is this for Gowling WLG? Because they asked for something similar and GR said in a online session a week before the deadline that whilst we ask for 3 - you can put more!
For the Spring and Summer VSs the deadline was yesterday. On their website it says they are non-rolling and that they make decisions about ACs after the deadline!
So we should start hearing back next week potentially! Good luck!
