    For the spring scheme they had given about a 33% figure (15-ish out of 45 candidates) However, they also said there isn’t necessarily a fixed number. So if instead of the intended 15 they thought 18 were great they’d offer Vac Schemes to all 18.

    @Jessica Booker I realised I forgot to submit the Rare Recruitment Survey for a firm and have not heard from them since applying. Is there any chance my application has not been considered because of this?

    Mishcon sent all AC invites at the same time for Spring. They are still inviting candidates for SVS VI- so I would not worry about not hearing back yet 😊

    I did mine on 14/11 and got the AC invite today. At the Legal Cheek fair they’d said everyone should hear back this week regardless of when you submitted ☺️

    The presentation on the application was covering the standard stuff- The why law? Why Freshfields?… structure is recommended. The most useful bits were the reasoning / interview prep exercises. Their Early careers team seem absolutely lovely so it was a joy to meet them too.

    I attended one of the workshops last week and they said they received more applications than ever for it. To the point where they could only offer 1 in 4 applicants. I would recommend applying definitely.

    I had the same issue and also haven't heard back at all from Cleary. Do you know whether not having done Rare might mean our applications were not released to Cleary?
