So the process has changed since last year (so I can only comment on last year) but it was only sent to those applicants who progressed past the application stage - I had a friend fail to even get the WG test after applying
@Abbie Whitlock @Andrei Radu - Could you kindly let me know how to delete my account please? there appears to be no options on settings for this (I may be missing something obvious)
DLA is one of the few firms that stand by the statement, "It doesn't matter which university you attend. AG is going this way also, having told its internal applicants they really look at grades anymore as long as you pass and perform well in role and they are looking to roll this externally...
Sooo I'm not Andrei or Abbie, but perhaps I could share my experience and that could help (possibly I was fortunate enough to get a TC and part of the process was a VI) - take it with a pinch of salt.
In terms of "tell me about yourself" I took it at face value, and literally spoke about...
Yeah.... I wouldn't push it, I would use the open day as an opportunity to stand out as they take notes on those that ask questions, speak with partners to apprentices (some only talk to partners - don't be this person) and find out more information on the firm, working conditions and benefits...
I'm sorry to hear this, please don't give up - this years application is harder than last years, new questions and format. Even the A/C and the internship itself is different

I secured my training contract in the last cycle, so I’ll share what worked for me. I only applied to one firm in the end, after attending an event and speaking with their lawyers, apprentices, and partners. That experience gave me a sense of the culture and helped me decide it was the right...
I can’t speak to the Law Conversion Course, but my experience with BPP for the SQE was disappointing. Lecturers often arrived late, were frequently changed, and several sessions were cancelled without notice. As we were attending in person, it was incredibly frustrating to travel in only to find...
I am happy to confirm that I have secured a training contract with my dream firm, a globally recognised practice. It has taken a lot of perseverance, and I waited to speak with the HR team and finalise everything before sharing the news, but it is official now.
I want to extend my thanks to...
I was fortunate to secure a place on their internship along with four others and none of us did cover letters - I will say to ensure your personality shines through your application though
