Some firms call back regarding TC offers whether you’re successful or unsuccessful. That way you don’t have to chase them for feedback if you’re unsuccessful because they give it to you when they tell you the outcome. Some firms just email if you’re successful for a VS rather than calling- Gracey

What TC applications are still open?
You can apply to White & Case direct TC - it’s non rolling and the deadline isn’t until Summer I believe. Definitely double-check this information though- Gracey

No I’m not implying that at all, I wouldn’t know loool - all I said is if they are impressed by your application, they will find a way to progress you even if you’re not a priority candidate. I did - I’m a penultimate year non-law student and was successful in securing a TC with CC. Although they have priority candidates, they do say that if your application is good enough they will find a way to consider you even if you don’t fall into the priority group. I know three other...- Gracey

Really? I’m surprised to hear that because I actually got two 2.2s and have been accepted on to schemes and/or progressed to the next application stage with all magic circle firms (except Slaughters which I never applied for) so I wouldn’t let that comment put you off because I’m living proof...- Gracey

Yes - they still do direct TC applications but the priority candidates are final year non-law and second year law students. However, if you’re a non-priority candidate then don’t be discouraged from applying next cycle if you feel your application is strong enough. I’m not a priority candidate...- Gracey
