Thanks Jess. When it comes to applying to paralegal roles as a final-year, would you recommend putting module grades on my CV or just overall predicted grade?
@Jessica Booker as a final year student graduating in a couple of months, is it too early to be applying to open paralegal positions that are currently being advertised if we cannot start till around July? There is there is no advertised start date on the opening
Does anyone know what to include in the option "other experience" box on Ashurst's application? The form only allows you to enter 4 work experiences, so should you include all other work experience that you've done in this box, including dates, company, position and description?
@Jessica Booker @axelbeugre or anyone else, do you have any advice for situational strengths tests? I can never seem to get past this stage. How can we determine what the firm is looking for in terms of values? is there a "right" answer or top strength we should try to achieve?
@Jessica Booker do you know if there are any long-term differences in terms of the SRA qualification you get when you qualify down the graduate solicitor apprentice route versus the training contract route?
My limited two cents on this is that "chances" of success if choosing the direct TC route over the VS route probably depends on each firm. If a firm maintains this position, though, I think it's advising/kind of warning you that its most beneficial to you to apply to the VS over the TC, if this...
That's not a bad grade at all, especially considering contract law is definitely one of the harder modules for everyone. Don't beat yourself up and I highly doubt this will be a dealbreaker for any firm!
