I certainly won't claim to have an unusual background to be entering a law firm in 2023 as I know how diverse all of your interests and experiences are... what is more, I have already come across other future lawyers with the same passion that I have - playing piano!
Nevertheless, I hope my background can inspire TCLA users who are wondering how they can 'sell' their non-law and international educational experiences. I gained my Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at London's Royal College of Music during the 2020 - 2021 academic year, whilst applying to a range of law firms and successfully securing my Training Contract. Previously, I attended Yale University in the United States, where I studied a broad range of subjects, double majoring in Global Affairs (essentially International Relations/Economics) and Near Eastern Languages & Civilisations.
A year ago I'd never heard of a Training Contract, but TCLA has transformed my legal journey. I am now here to help make a little difference to yours - be it answering your questions or producing resources to your benefit. See you on the forum!
