    Thank you! I actually just realised they also ask in the form your motivations for being a solicitor and for applying to the firm. So do you think it would still be necessary to do a cover letter... feels a bit like they've asked everything already.

    Has anyone got any good tips or know of any techniques to get better at Cappfinnity assessments, I always do terrible and feel like the reflections I get on my strengths/weaknesses aren't accurate at all. I have another SJT coming up and would appreciate any advice or websites to look at.

    When a firm has not given any indication of timetlines for hearing back is it ever appropriate to email and ask.     This might be a silly question but do I need to let firms i am waiting to hear from that I’m going to be abroad the next two weeks, just in case they call (i hope) because of international call fees? I don’t want them to think i’m presuming an offer but also wouldn’t want them to incur a cost.
