I'm not sure how it would work for small firms but in my experience (previous application cycle) I don't see anything wrong with that. I assume your application was used to get you to the video interview stage so the next threshold is passing the video interview. Unless everyone who submits an application gets to do a video interview, i doubt it. someone else please correct if I’m wrong here- kuuks_

i doubt they want perfect marks because i think everyone who didn't meet their benchmark would have gotten automatic rejections - i don't see why they would take a week to get back especially considering how many apps they probably received. not at all saying that person's application wasn't...- kuuks_
