i'm worried that doing an ac later will hurt my chances but am very busy next week. ik lots of vac spots for this firm have already gone - what would you reccommend? does when you do your ac make a difference to your chance of an offer?
for ACs is it best to schedule as early as possible? have never done one before so would appreciate more time to prepare but does this worsen my chances or do they decide after seeing all applicants?
which of the us firms / magic circles care the most about grades? maybe not officially but in the end most of the trainees have 1sts etc... or also which us firms care less? (context of a v mid 2.1 oxbridge so nothing formally cut off grade-wise)
interested to hear about SC firms / UK too if...
is it too late to apply for rolling deadlines (esp ones in december or even early jan) like weil, bird & bird, hogan lovells etc? wouldn't wanna hurt my chances in the future by sending off an application that won't even be looked at...
also is davis polk rolling?
