I haven't included formalities like the date and address in the cover letter but have included a salutation and sign off. What did you do? Did you just jump right into the main content/body of the cover letter i.e. "Why law", "Why Gibson Dunn" and "Why me"?- Lse2020*

Year-end average on application forms
I am filling out an application form (Slaughter and May) and have noticed that they ask for a year-end average. LSE does not officially calculate/provide year-end averages except for a First Year Average. Should I indicate this on my application or just calculate an average using my marks?- Lse2020*
