Thank you that is useful. I just felt going from my A-level interest in law up until now as a graduate would have me speaking for ages. Obviously using that structure as a 2nd year was less of an issue as I would have had less experience to call on and talk about.- Osh

Would you say a graduate with a bit more legal experience, i.e legal volunteering/vacation schemes would have to tell less of a 'story' and can just explain what they enjoyed (and why) from their previous work experience when answering why commercial law?- Osh

If you have experience with PE work. If a firm is advising a company because that company is owned by a PE house, will that firm still receive work from the company after the PE house has existed the company by selling it or doing an IPO?- Osh

Where Firms Recruit From (Direct TC/VS)
When grad say they generally take from their vacation scheme (in this case Bird& Bird) but have direct training contract apps as an option, is it worth still doing a direct TC app especially as a graduate with existing VS work experience and more- Osh

Its often mentioned to have a few deals that the firm has worked on to highlight your interest in the firm, or use a particular deal the firm worked on to show your interest in a certain practice area - that's the angle I'm coming from- Osh
