I paralegal at a mid tier firm in Manchester not in a commercial department and have gotten to interview stage at Travers and HSF, I don’t think they really care too much as long as you highlight your transferable skills etc. If you can get a paralegal role in corporate or commercial even better...
I think I was just told in December at some point. As far as I know though no one has gotten an AC or PFO in this thread yet so guessing decisions haven’t been made. People are still on WG stage so idk when we’ll hear
Just did the eversheds test.
Typical watson glaser but timed and most of the passages I got were all legal scenarios (I think to possibly try and confuse us)
I reached the TI stage, I was given a warm up question at the start which wasn’t assessed just generally about myself, the interviewer did ask questions about this so there was a little bit of a rapport. I was asked quite a few questions I think around 5 or so, and I did mine a few days after...
You could try looking at Chambers and Legal 500, both let you filter firms by practice area and region, so it’s an easy way to see who actually specialises in the areas you’re interested in.
From what you’ve said so far, you might like Fieldfisher, Kingsley Napley or Irwin Mitchell, but I’m not...
