Vac Scheme - Covering Letter Only?

Hi! Does anyone know (maybe from last year or from experience) which law firms only require a covering letter (instead of application questions) to apply for a vacation scheme? E.g. White & Case

Skadden (although you also have to provide your extracurriculars and positions of responsibility as separate questions - but effectively a longer cover letter format)
Norton Rose Fulbright
Freshfields (personal statement, but effectively like a cover letter)
Travers Smith (although you also have to provide your extracurriculars and positions of responsibility as separate questions - but effectively a longer cover letter format)
