Hi. In Greece we had general exams a few days ago.
One example was this:

Water - Rosebush
A) mouse - cat
B) vitamins - human
C) fertilizer - field
D) springling can - plant pot

They gave as the correct answer the A

Can someone explain why is that?

Thank you

Can you provide a little context on other questions in the series? All second options seem reliant on the first to sustain them, at a glance...

Perhaps A as the cat must actively hunt the mouse, and the rosebush must actively take up water, whereas B, C and D can be passive (e.g. the field is fertilised, etc)? Although this is perhaps a stretch...
