Does anyone have any insight into paralegal average working hours in non-MC, city firms? Looking to apply to some roles, but I'm aware the pay is quite low. Wondering whether I'll essentially be doing trainee hours for much less. Thank you

Some paralegal roles pay overtime so although the base salary might seem low, the likelihood is that your take home pay will be higher for such roles. Not all do though, so something to check at the offer stage.

But usually a paralegal base salary (contracted pay outside of overtime), unless it’s for someone with lots of experience, will be roughly 70-75% of a trainee salary.
