PGDL vs LLB in corporate law.

Hi If I do a PGDL after a MBBS medical degree instead of an LLB will I be disadvantaged when applying for TC’s and corporate jobs at US and magic/silver circle firms ?

Not a direct disadvantage, but there will be a question around your motivations and why you are pursuing a very different career route.

If you can explain this well though, it is not an issue. I have recruited people with medical backgrounds before. It is just the number of people who make this transition are exceptionally rare and so there will be a question as to why you are making the change.
