    Government Legal Profession AC!!!
My first law AC so would appreciate any advice from anyone, especially if you have attended the government AC before.
    Congrats! I got one too
Likewise, any advice would be appreciated!
Hi both, and others who received the GLP trainee AC invite, have you been asked to schedule the AC yet? The latest on offer for mine is 5 Aug but I kinda want to have a later one haha

I now have the email to book, but I can't access the candidate portal because the link to it at the bottom of the email isn't working for me. I don't suppose you'd be kind enough to send a link to the login page of the candidate portal? My plan is to do it August 1st as I have another interview w/c Aug 4th.

Edit: apparently it's because all places have been booked and I need to wait for another email with new slots for the AC. So no worries.

W&C pfo 😳😅 expected it though after I applied a week before deadline & hadn’t had an invite to VI yet…

Has anyone heard from Macfarlanes, or know when to expect to hear back? Had the WG feedback sent to me over 2 weeks ago.
I probably should be expecting mine any minute from now 😔 no vi invite yet. I spent so long on that application too 😭

Hey all, I recently got a full time job and would love some advice from people on how they balanced that with applications. I find that I have no energy after work to start preparing for the next cycle let alone draft applications. Thank you :)

I was working full time during the last application season and honestly it took a lot of time management and planning! Others from the platform might have better advice but what worked for me was having a folder with all the usual information they ask such as your university grades and work experience section in a folder then you copy and paste! It’s very important to know when the firms you’re applying to will open their application so when answering the firm specific questions, you can start early and actually take your time. During the week I’d carry out bits of research after work and note them down but once the weekend comes, I use that time to curate my answer. The more you apply, the easier it is in my opinion. Good luck! 🫶🏽
