No it is god awful. That’s not high in London rate I thought RPC would pay higher 😲
Yes it’s pretty awful. I am an immigrant so according to my visa I need to have a salary of £30,960. Will the firm be open to pay that if the role’s salary is around 30k?No it is god awful.
I agree it’s pretty awful! I think your best bet is try and negotiate with the firm. I recently interviewed at Addleshaw and they were paying 30k for their paralegal role as well but I’m assuming if it’s a big international firm, they should probably agree to the increase (but might refuse on the grounds that other paralegals or entry level paralegals at their firm are being paid 30k so it wouldn’t be fair!)Yes it’s pretty awful. I did not apply, but this would be my thinking. Last chance for anyone who did Hogan AC for direct TC to come forward. Otherwise I will apply for their WVS.
They responded to my email today. "We are currently still processing your application and will be in touch to let you know whether you are invited to our assessment centre soon. We thank you for your patience and understanding."I did not apply, but this would be my thinking. Last chance for anyone who did Hogan AC for direct TC to come forward. I saw on this thread in between pages 22-25, AC invites were sent on 2nd September and the AC was held on 10th.They responded to my email today. Hi ,Anyone heard back from the government legal department?
Yes you should follow up, I was rejected like a week after my interviewHey everyone, it's been almost 4 weeks since my Slaughters direct TC interview (the response timeline they gave me was 2-3 weeks), and I still haven't heard back. Last week, they sent me an email apologising and saying they hope to get back by early this week, but I still haven't received a response. Is anyone in the same situation, and do you think it is okay for me to follow up and ask at this stage?

If you're talking about the GLP Legal Trainee scheme they've already conducted the assessment centre. You could check the timelines on their recruitment webpage.Hi ,
