is it deep if I apply to Covington despite not having done any of their previous schemes or having met them? I really want to apply, I feel like I have done so much research on the firm and could give really solid answers but I just don't know if it is worth it if I haven't interacted with them and the chances are that many applicants probably have? Having a similar problem with hogan lovells :/

Anyone heard back from A&O Shearman?
Macfarlanes Job Sim Invite! Completed 1st test last Friday after applying on Thursday.
I found the format fine and quite easy to deal with but it took me almost 2 hours
I seem to remember something about hearing back on the w/c 10th nov but idk if I'm making that up
I honestly wouldn’t say the questions are any of the above😭they’re not motivational whatsoever unfortunately - just how you would act in “crisis scenario”, so you really have to think on your feet!! You get 1 min prep time
Not sure as the information is unavailable online. I'm visiting the firm tomorrow, and shall ask and let you know!
It's competency related based on a given peculiar scenario. You really do have to think on your feet and there's a lot to read and prepare within 1 minute.
The issue here is the time limit rather than the questions themselves.
