Freshfields Stage 2 invite! So happy as I honestly thought I failed the first stage as I’m so bad at WGs. I also got championing our clients as a weakness.

I'm currently hoping i didn't fail the first stage, please when did you complete the first stage? and did you just get the second stage invite today?

They don't have a date yet (they're not sure if there would be a vac scheme). If they decide to have one, it'll be in june-july during the term break.

Hi I just wanted to ask for some advice! I'm applying to A&O but for the university section they require module/subject grades but they only allow you to put in 20 modules max and I have 30. Should I just record my overall grade for each year instead?

What they told me on the open day:

Do the practice test and be prepared.
Look into the values and culture details of the firm and the descriptions on what they expect from trainee seen online. Compare them with whatever the options given. Align the answers to reflect them. It's untimed but do it with your first instinct.

(Also, unlike most other firms' tests, here score or your percentile doesn't matter. All you have to do is to pass your test, and they'll look into your application.)

Tbf all SJT's throw me off lol, but just thought retrospectively thinking of the questions, I'm not quite sure how they inform the 3 pillars that they measure. Very hard to follow.

does anyone know how long the window is to do the online tests after submitting freshfields online form for training contract application

They do something called PHirst Steps which is a 1 week work experience for both students and graduates. But I can’t find any info that this scheme will lead to a TC

I asked about PHirst at a law fair, grad rec said it won't lead to a TC - you still have to apply, but the scheme will give you more things to discuss regarding why PH
