No problem. Honestly I think the strengths and weakness (professional developoment) don't matter that much. We never understand how they calculate the scores!Ah thank you for sharing!! Well done on the second stage! I'm so worried that I won't be progressed haha. I did stage 1 for their open day and didn't make it to stage 2 - but the report I got this time is the exact same as my report for the OD sooo I'm super worried!
I hope so... 😭 Latham please give me a chance hahaNo problem. Honestly I think the strengths and weakness (professional developoment) don't matter that much. We never understand how they calculate the scores!
Obv not, they look again to your profile and essays, and benchmarking yours with others hollistically.Does the result come out immediately like CC WGT?
2 days? the app has closed for over a week for non law. If you're law the wait time would be longerPeople who had applied to Slaughter DTC on the last 2 days, did you get any update from them?
Someone who passed just told you he doesn't add the module breakdown. I suppose it would be similar to Gowling as they weighted more on test, not hollistic approach. I attended their open day too so can confirm.Hi all,
I’m completing my Fieldfisher application and have a question about the “Qualifications” section. Each education entry has two parts:
For example, following Freshfields’ format and examples:
- School / Educational Establishment Name, Start Date, End Date
- Qualification Name (QN), Qualification Type (QT), Qualification Result (QR), Date Obtained
I’m unsure how to interpret this for my undergraduate degree (BA English, UC Berkeley). Am I meant to list the entire degree as one qualification (e.g., QN: English, QT: Degree, QR: First, Date: 2022) or list each module as a separate qualification? There doesn’t seem to be anywhere else to input modules. I’ve emailed Fieldfisher directly and am waiting for a response, but I wanted to see if anyone here has gone through this and how they did it.
- QN: English
- QT: GCSE / A-Level / Degree / Other
- QR: Grade / Level
Thanks for any insight!

I actually have just received the test so hopefully you have too!I submitted on the 6th and still haven't received the test. Have you?
Last two days of the application deadline, my bad😂2 days? the app has closed for over a week for non law. If you're law the wait time would be longer
It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, but saw this post reshared on LinkedIn and wanted to respond. Is it just me or has the process of applying to numerous firms been so demoralising, especially this year? I completely understand that the competition is harsh, but the feeling of having to be perfect during every stage of the long 4-5 stage process for a vac is so draining, not to mention that half the firms won't even read the app you spent hours on unless you pass their benchmark or have specifically what they look for. I am so burnt out already, and having received some rejections I feel quite hopeless of securing a TC by the end of university. What's worse is I don't know whether sacrificing some uni work to do these apps will even be worth it. Good luck to everyone, as this process definitely isn't easy 🙃
