For those who have applied to Birketts before, I was wondering at what stage the firm usually contacts your academic and employment referees? Will they inform you before contacting them? This is the first time I've seen a referee section on an app form, so have no idea how firms typically use this information. Any insights would be very appreciated!

Just ignore it. If they need it they will contact you. They will only conduct background checks if they offer you a TC.

My friend who has a spring vac scheme off the back of the fys (them and the brand ambassadors did an early AC just for them) said that ACs go out in the new year. But this wait is killing me.

I could be wrong, but i think for NRF winter it seems that there were a couple batches of VI releases so fingers crossed theres still hope!
