Does anyone else have a very hard time accessing the A&O amberjack practice test? It seems to never load, but id love some extra practice. Any advice?

Idk if it’s ‘necessary’ per se cos you can defo write about any deal you’re interested in, but if it does happen to be a deal Debevoise advised on, I’d go for it honestly. Their main focus seems to be on the second half of the question. I did write about a deal Debevoise advised on in my app (just sent it off early hours this morning).
If you can, yes. But, the application is long. So if you can submit a high quality application, then absolutely go for it.

Just a general comment- law firms who put their deadlines at 5/5:30pm on a Friday really don't want people already with full-time jobs applying do they...

@Afraz Akhtar @Abbie Whitlock @Andrei Radu I have a question about tone in applications. I have always thought that a measured and more polished tone would be better because I don't want to sound like I'm entitled or aggressive/annoying, but now I'm questioning whether a more forceful/assertive tone is preferable in applications. Would love your thoughts.

I get you but I promise it’s not worth it that anxiety will eat you up. Even if you get the AC (hopefully you do) that anxiety will carry on and may potentially ruin your performance or hinder you from performing your best. Just try to hold it back or manage as best as you can and hope for the best !
