How it feels when you get rejected by a firm, and they don't give you any feedback other than "we hope you found the SJT feedback useful"... yes, that arbitrary, entirely generic test that allowed me to show absolutely no aspect of my personality or skillset... that feedback...

Stupid question but do you guys typically practice or prepare before doing an automatic capptivate assessment? Or do you find that you usually just do it straight away?

if you prepare, how do you usually go about it?
I do it straight away and it might be a stupid idea but I feel I’ve given so many similar ones atp that practice won’t help for sjts as practice tests have the same ques as well (or maybe I’m just tired, it took me 2 hours to do the trowers assessment last night and it drained me). If an assessment is new to me, then I take the practice test!

Is Reed Smith Vi competency based or situational? Just looking for how best to prepare if anyone can help ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's strengths based (eg How would you hand X situation/ what would you do if you find yourself in X crisis). I think there is also on motivational question (did my VI in Nov so I don't remember many details)

    Any feedback is good feedback!
Not sure I would class that as feedback tbh, I'm sure they have template emails for each stage.

From experience as a career changer who's been rejected by my current employer 6 weeks before I got the same job I applied for, these emails don't indicate anything.

I was rejected with 'your qualifications don't match what we're looking for' while I am a professional in that field with 8 years experience. 6 weeks later the same job pops up at the same place and I got hired.
