does anyone know what happens if you fail a pgdl module prior to a vac scheme? would they still offer a tc contingent on passing a resit!

I would imagine that depends on the firm - some are likely more stringent than others with grade requirements (think CC, Slaughters, Links)

Just received my offer for a vac scheme at a firm i like. Really delighted obviously, but ive also done ACs for other firms and awaiting their responses. Would posting on linkedin that i got an offer from X firm negatively impact the other firms' applications if they see it? Dont wanna look like im not interested in their firms by accepting a diff VS, so deciding if i should just hold off from posting

I personally always keep them off my LinkedIn just in case! But it’s very case by case. I’ve never heard it negatively impacting anyone!

Hi everyone, has anyone had applications progress for silver circle/ US firms with a few 2.2 module grades. Not sure whether to give them ago, I just assumed they would reject me based on that

I've had two 2:2 modules in first year and just got a vac scheme with a US firm if that helps

From what I have seen in forums, the successful people have heard back very quickly, so hoping for the best. I am worried, as although the interview mostly went well, I did not know the answer to one question that they asked, so completely blanked out and gave the wrong answer

anyone have any experience with being put on an AC reserve list… i’m terrified by the idea of being called up as late as the day before the assessment centre…

I’ve had this twice and been told the day before and two days before respectively - so if you’re keen and able to cancel plans to attend last minute then prepare as if you are going to attend!
