Do we think it's worth emailing Slaughter and May to ask for a decision sooner? Don't have any other offers, but I'm trying to book tickets for the summer, and it would really help ngl.

I'm a law student and had my interview on the 10th. Is it time to prepare for a PFO?

I know someone who interviewed after me who has received an offer from slaughters - should I prepare for a PFO?

I really think not to, the ppl I know who have gotten offers are people who insinuated in the interview that there were other offers hanging about so maybe they felt the need to expedite those decisions. And even if not, they may have a weird process where certain partners have been busier etc. just keep your head up! Im sure there will be good news!!

I know one other guy who got an offer, but not sure when he interviewed. I just know he also has another TC and a few VS offers so they probs did it quicker for him.
Other than that, no PFOs or acceptances

i think theyre just leaving non law last maybe cause scheme is latest idk, havent heard any non law responses

Omg so happy for others for getting Orrick’s WG second batch but is it because we did so bad in the first round?😭 I wonder what their benchmark is and how much the written application counts (they said they’ll be assessed in conjunction with the test results)

3rd cycle stats (had 1 fluke AC last year but never got further than a WG apart from that):

• 5 ACs
• 3 Rejections
• 2 offers
• 1 TC accepted
