I hate these kinds of questions. It seems like a variation of the popular: "Who would you invite to a dinner party?" question

They're just looking to see a bit of your personality/what your interests are and how you justify your choices. Don't forget the two people will be locked in a vehicle with each other for some time!

(They might also be looking for people who think outside the box a little more with their answers. Especially if many people the same people or use the same justifications.)
