I am looking to apply to Travers Smith. The ‘box’ for their cover letter on the application form is 1000 words max, and I’ve written exactly 1000 words.
Is that ok? It says the answer should be your cover letter, and I know 1000 words is long for the cover letter.

I’m in the same boat. I think they’ve only sent PFOs to those who failed to get the benchmark on their SGT. Those who then weren’t progressed after screening haven’t been sent PFOs yet…
I went to the open day at Trowers and they say they look at each application alongside the test result to decide who to progress to AC.
So I don’t think the test is pass/fail.
Did Macfarlanes test and got credibility, personal responsibility and adaptability as key strengths, and explainer as my lowest scoring which is interesting! Anyone get anything similar?
Just did the OC verbal reasoning test and not happy with it. Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience in a previous cycle.

There are of course some firms that it’s much better to apply early- and some are honest and say they don’t necessarily read every application (Bird & Bird, Simmons & Simmons).

It says you have 7 days to complete the assessment from the time you receive the email. So I assume that means finishing and submitting it before that deadline.
I’ve done one Cappfinity test today with another to do this week. I guess it’s worth waiting for the feedback report for the first one right before doing the second?
Do they tend to arrive the next day?
