Hi Gemma!
When determining which candidates progress to the interview stage, do you just look at the written exercise scores, or are these combined with marks from the initial application and video interview stages too?
Thank you.
You can probably write an application pretty quickly and tailor it to the firm (as you’ve experienced working there) so like, why not, if it can be a quick application.
I think a downside would be the emotional toll because you’re likely to get a PFO (again), but if you’ve come to terms with...
Now been almost two weeks since my Reed Smith VI/SJT with no news! Anyone heard back this week?
Also just checking still nobody has heard back about interviews for Withers Summer?
Same. They were a back-up firm for me so not too disappointed but I did go to their open day and wrote a good application.
Must be the SJT that was the problem!
They have a large intake and have the same application form for Spring/Summer so I would be surprised if there’s just 3 AC dates for London, even if there are multiple time slots on each.
I was considering whether to look at SARs to get scores/feedback firms wouldn’t otherwise give. Is this a good idea though or just likely to annoy the companies?
Has anyone gained useful information by doing these that has helped with applications, or are they just a distraction?
