Hi @Bread
No problem at all.
One person screens all initial applications and puts them into three categories ('yes', 'no', 'maybe'), just as used to take place previously. However now, 10% of applications in each of those three categories are then read by an additional person (me, or one of...
Hi @yk1906
I think it depends on the context in which those activities took place. If the pro bono was (for example) as part of a job you had at the time, I would place it in the work experience section. If the mooting was (for example) as part of a university society's work, I would place...
Hi @Harvey Specter , @Afuturetrainee @CharlesT47
Charles is right, the delay is due in part to our recent change in the Graduate Recruitment role, but also because we've added some additional checks and balances into the decision process, which unfortunately for candidates means the screening...
Hi @yk1906
Your GCSE grades are automatically pulled through into your application from Vantage, so no need for you to do anything else - we will see them as part of your application once we receive it.
Good luck!
Kirsty
Hi @TortillaTC ,
You should go ahead and submit whenever you're happy with your application as there's actually no technical error with the GCSE entries. Although you aren't adding them into your application, they are being pulled through into the submission we receive, so I think this happens...
Hi @legallybrunnette
Gemma no longer works at Willkie, but I can answer your questions for you.
1. Your answer to this question should have a focus on Willkie hosted events;
2. Yes, this shoudl include third party events, and you can include events where you watched the recorded version, as...
Hi @abc124 ,
Yes, absolutely, and with the couple of other people who have reported this same thing I've checked and their GCSE results are in the application, so it may be that they are pulled through automatically somehow.
Thanks!
Kirsty
Hi @Harvey Specter
If you would like to message me privately with the name your application was submitted in I'll take a look at that for you as all the applications I've been reading have GCSE grades inputted, so I just want to ensure there's not something wrong in the system for one or two...
Hi @abc124
Our application form does ask for GCSE qualification, each topic, and each grade to be listed, so I suspect it could be an issue you're experiencing accessing the system.
Thanks!
Kirsty
Hi @Goodbyetc
No, it's not. Everyone is contacted at some point after video interview to let you know whether you were successful or not.
Thanks,
Kirsty
Hi @Harvey Specter
We have received hundreds of applications so far this month, so we are reading through each of them one by one and will get back to you. As a reminder the Willkie Grad Rec 'Team' is just one person, so it does take a long time to read each of them fully and get back to...
Hi @noahsmiit01 ,
Great to hear your lovely words about Gemma. She didn't leave Willkie for another law firm, but instead has joined Rare Recruitment, so we still get to work with her, which is wonderful!
Kirsty
Hi @ExcitingEasting
Applications are being reviewed as usual, but it takes a long time to read each one thoroughly and wonderfully we've received a large number so far, so it's taking me some time to get through them all. Rest assured you will hear from us.
Thanks!
Kirsty
Hi @Goodbyetc
Applications are being reviewed as usual so we don't expect any significant time delays in anyone hearing back after video interview, but there will be a couple of days where our new Graduate Recruitment Manager has to get set up on all our IT systems etc., so just keep an eye on...
