The SQE would be done in Sept 27 and would last a year before commencing the TC in 2028. I think the timeline would look like this:
July 2026: graduate from university
Sept 2027: start the SQE
Aug 2028: finish the SQE
September 2028: start the TC
September 2030: qualification

I don’t think any of these firms’ deadlines have closed yet and they’re all non-rolling, so it’s gna be a while before any post app responses. White & Case and Paul Hastings won’t be until June and July for DTC responses afaik.
Thought I’d update this leaderboard cos there’s a few significant changes since the last update:

Yeah they have a DTC route as well. They increased their trainee intake to 15 for Sept 28, but I think they’re probs wanting to fill spaces for Sept 26 and 27, so are probs making a few DTC offers. I know of around 5 or 6 people who’ve gotten offers via the DTC route for Gibson Dunn this cycle.
If it helps, our grades are pretty similar and I’ve been able to progress with several US firms this cycle, some of which ask for AAA A-levels (obvs I don’t have that), so it’s defo possible!
