Hi! I haven't been on here in a while so hoping people can provide updates. How far in the process are the following firms (i.e., first stage, second stage, etc):
- Stephenson Harwood
- Travers Smith
- Paul Hastings
- Morgan Lewis
- Linklaters
Also which of them recruit/review/send out offers...
thoughts on likelihood of being progressed to Milbank stage 2?
I completed the stage 1 test a week ago and haven't heard anything. wondering if it's worth holding out hope or coming to terms with a PFO especially since AC invites have gone out
I applied the day before the deadline, got the test invite within 1 working day, completed the test on Tuesday and waiting to hear back. They did have an AC yesterday so there may be a delay in getting back
Not sure if I'm making this up but I think I saw on the thread a couple weeks ago that they were not opening DTC applications this year.
Someone pls jump in case I dreamt it or somethig
Sorry that was your outcome. They did say there would be a winter vacation scheme next cycle so they may be looking at these applications very strictly.
Either way I hope you stay optimistic! The main point is to keep trying:)
I'm not sure how it would work for small firms but in my experience (previous application cycle) I don't see anything wrong with that. I did it for a large American firm and it was clear trainees knew how much information they were allowed to divulge to keep the process fair.
As long as you...
Did everyone who hasn't heard back from Paul, Weiss choose summer or both summer and spring?
And did anyone with PFOs choose the summer intake?
Trying to find reasons to expect anything other than a rejection atp🥲🥲
