Hi super sorry I don’t have any experience but wanted to check if you could share what the slots are looking like? Are they quite full/is there only a few days etc.?
Thank you and all the best 🍀
Hey People!
Welcome to my hall of f(sh)ame!
For both accountability and easy tracking of updates in a space where I can't be found, I am starting this thread to keep track of all my applications for this cycle.
Who am I?
I am an international student, dipping my toes properly in big law...
What was your WG percentile if you don't mind sharing. Also anyone else who got the open day can you share your WG score if you are happy with sharing it.
I asked the exact same question the other days, this is their reply:
"We advise to apply only for one vacancy per recruitment cycle as you can complete online assessments only once per academic year so your scores from first application will be considered for the second one as well."
Hello!
Loved reading your post - it’s so inspiring to see how self-aware and organised you are being about the process, and it sounds like you have made amazing progress this cycle already!
Massive congratulations on all those open day successes - that’s such a strong list. Best of luck with...
Congratulations!! 🥳🥳 just quoting a helpful post from @Amma Usman which you might find helpful 😁
If I may, could I ask: before receiving the invite, did you notice your percentage (66%/77%) and whether you had a tick by applicant review?

You can apply to opportunities from your home country. I’d just be mindful that not all firms sponsor visas for intl students for vacationschemes (VS). Most people I know of applied to direct training contracts (TC) and...
For some firms this will be the case. For instance, I think (if I remember correctly) Linklaters state you need a certain number of weeks of legal work experience to go forward for their direct TC.
But for most firms it won’t be as simple/binary as needed a certain length of work experience...
Hi everyone!
We've compiled a list of law firms that are currently accepting applications for open days and insight schemes (including those aimed at first year students). These events offer a great chance to get to know specific firms, especially if you're unable to apply for vacationschemes...
Hi @Tangcy
Yes, you should be able to do so. Although this may need to be updated, I made a short thread on the firms that typically allow you to apply for a direct training contract in the same recruitment cycle as an unsuccessful vacationscheme application. When applying for Linklaters'...
Heya, I'm also still waiting for a reply from Links. I think the person who mentioned that the last set of ACs didn't mention whether they were referring to summer or spring. From my understanding, some of the PFOs sent out this week were definitely for spring - i'm not sure whether many have...
