I would say there’s generally no need to. It’s very hard in the digital age for a law firm to lose someone’s application. They’ll get back to you when they’re ready.
Hey, no I don’t! I’ve got my AC next week.
I know they did a case study last year during the interview but didn’t have a written exercise on the AC.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the written exercise has replaced it.
Hey! So I’m going to a Spring VS AC soon but I’m unlikely to be able to make the dates. They do a summer vs too.
Should I tell the firm before my AC and let them know I’d strongly prefer summer, or see if they give me an offer and then ask to switch after?
Thanks!
I got this too. Not automatic!
Grad rec filter down the video interviews and they’re then marked again by a Partner (along with your application).
So we’ve made it past the initial sift.
Yes, this!
I also worked out the other day that every firm which had interviewed me was through AllHires. It's my lucky platform, please firms keep using it!
In contrast, I've never had a second stage if the firm uses Cvmail. Basically given up on firms which use that, I know its not rational...
From LinkedIn, looks like there’s been summer vac scheme offers for Hogan Lovells… (not just ACs)
I think there’s a lot of people on here (like me) still waiting to hear back from them, but it’s not looking great for us… 😢
