Just went back to check the feedback from my DTC pfo and you're right, it says exactly that. I can't remember if I referenced anything specific in those. Hoping my motivational one where I referenced similar behaviours through specific examples balances it out in terms of credibility.
I guess...
How is everyone approaching scenario based questions in VIs? I used to use a lived example but then realised I was probably not answering the question. I have changed my strategy this year and just giving an analysis of what I am being asked and what my actions would be in steps. I have no idea...
Not sure I would class that as feedback tbh, I'm sure they have template emails for each stage.
From experience as a career changer who's been rejected by my current employer 6 weeks before I got the same job I applied for, these emails don't indicate anything.
I was rejected with 'your...
Just wanted to chime in as the aptitude-tests practice tests outlines that digital mindset is also the least important pillar.
Each firm will place more weight on certain pillars compared to others.
@oliviabeijing may well be correct here that Verbal should be maxed but I think they look at...
The big4 consulting firms usually publish business case studies you can have a go at! Mishcon kept pushing them at both open days I'd been to.

Found this through a quick google search

I appreciate OP is asking for WE material but this is still handy...
That's a really good score. Basically a 75%
I don't know the benchmark but I'd say you fared pretty well! I assume the VI is weighted higher given you demonstrate your research and behaviours through it.
Even current trainees I've met say to always take advice from others with a grain of salt because we're all different and also all it takes is one firm to make you an offer. You could be applying to 40 firms and get 39 rejections and one offer. That's not really an indication of a strategy to...
Oooooof I just finished Reed Smith's VI and that took me so long. Will this ever get easier? lol
I got my amberjack scores and I'm shocked tbh. I did better than I thought. Got 7-6-4-9 with verbal at 2/3(cursed at this point) and numerical at 3/3
Let's see if I met the benchmark lmao
Edit: oh sorry you meant general information. Like another person said I used non-billable (I love the way they write quite simply), legal cheek, chambers student (some firms don't have a profile), legal500, sometimes RollOnFriday.

Look at TCLA's application database and prep for the three questions from last year. I heard there's two - it's likely they will be very similar to last year's app questions.
Not sure how relevant this is but when I did a graphic design course before uni, and the general rule was serif (Times New Roman for example) is for print and sans serif (let's say Arial) is for screens.
The only time you see serif on screen is when it's a stylistic choice and for hierarchy on...
I know that Reed Smith screen applications and then move on from it when they review SJT and VIs.
At one online event they basically said you can refer to your application for your VI but expand slightly for motivational questions.
I would assume most firms don't watch your VI with your...
