The question is, how selective are they being this year? 🥵 worried the new process has got them scrambling a little and making everyone do the Amberjack to see what the benchmark will be.
I think it is for spring but not sure it's 100% accurate on timings or how they are screening, if they are screening these at all.
I have a friend who submitted and completed the AI interview before me and hasn't heard back today. I applied on the 10th of November and did the the interview on...
Yeah, some firms straight up close their application window if they fill their spots before the deadline.
From what I heard from Reed Smith's GR team, they don't stop reviewing before the deadline. @Abbie Whitlock can probably confirm if this is true hah
I applied two days before the deadline for the DTC last cycle and they screen every application.
I agree with what you're saying, but I think a lot of them review before the deadline because of the sheer volume of applications they get and how lean their GR teams are. They would take weeks, if...
I opted for this one - https://aptitude-test-prep.com/test-providers/amberjack-assessment/ - (not sure if links are allowed). It's $25 and you get two full tests and it gives you a breakdown of why each answer is high or low scoring and what each question is looking for.
I haven't seen any...

It sounds like they were at the splitting hairs stage and it has nothing to do with your academics. If you have 2:1s and above and engaged with them so much, it must have been between a handful of applicants getting through to the next stage.
Take the wins and I guess wait for CC to get back...
I went to one of their open days and they seemed very fixated on the consistent 2:1s across all modules being their minimum. It put me off applying despite making it onto an in-person open day.
If you made it onto AOS AC I can't see it being your academics for HSFK because AOS is also quite...
For firms using CVMail with limited work experience entries, do we prioritise paid roles over legal work experience? If they have a box with 'additional work experience or career events' can we signpost multiple ones?
The word limit for this one is 500 words and it allows formatting. I was...
