    Spoke with recruitment: Just found out that all law and non-law graduates, PGDL, and SQE students/grads aren’t eligible to apply for A&O Shearman vac schemes 😱 Can only apply directly to their TC. Wow!

    I haven’t withdrawn yet but I’m going to email on Monday and do so. The earliest start date for CC is more than a year later than the date I’ve been given for A&O Shearman and I’m a 24 y/o masters student so I would like to start the SQE sooner rather than later.

    People have got AC’s but from the looks of it they’ve applied to the 2027 TC. I’ve yet to see someone for the 2028 TC get an AC invite.

    From looking at the dates of previous years' DTC AC invitations, I don't believe they are sent out in batches. Perhaps, if the people already invited to an AC perform poorly, there will be another round of invitations. However, that's purely speculative.

    ...if the link doesn't work , just search up A&O Shearman Practice test and it will lead you to an article about Dos and Don'ts - if you scroll to the bottom bottom of the page there's a line saying "we've created a practice test for you" or something, and the link is there!
