I don’t have AAA A-levels and I got offers from 3 firms that asked for AAA A-levels, so I’m sure there are firms that ask for AAB that are lenient.
I know people that got ACs, VSs and TCs with a few firms that ask for AAB like Goodwin, White & Case, Travers Smith, Hogan Lovells and NRF.
Hey TCLA peeps,
Looks like it’s time for another app status update, so this is the latest version for this thread:
Apps that were rejections:
Winter VS apps:
Jones Day VS post app
HSF Kramer VS post app and SJT
Paul, Weiss VS post app
Cleary Gottlieb VS post app
White & Case VS post app, SJT...
I saw a post on LinkedIn that someone got invited to an AC post WE for Ashurst, so it seems they’re gna PFO everyone on TCLA post SJT/WG atp…
Still nothing from SH it’s been 62 days post app, or bakers idk where they’re at lmao. They’ve alr sent two rounds of PFOs so hoping SJTs soon…
I’m assuming they’ve sent all their WEs and it’s a PFO but I’m surprised nobody on here has posted anything about hearing from Ashurst at all.
Hopefully Bakers and SH wake up next week and send out SJTs. My portal says I applied to Bakers 07 May and that my app is in progress…
I saw online that Ashurst take 50 people across the WVS and SVS so assuming 50% get a TC it’s 25/40 TCs going via VS so 15/40 via DTC?
So my guess would be 30-45 final ints, 60-90 ACs and 120-180 WEs for the DTC route, out of probs at least 2-3k apps, which is pretty cooked.
I’m just...
I haven’t applied to open days at the same firm but through Aspiring Solicitors there were a few firms I did repeat visits too (HSFK and BCLP spring to mind). I think Clifford Chance too but it was through Legal Cheek or something iirc. But I think it was for a diff event or purpose each time...
