Hey! Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to be accepted on the future trainees forum? I requested access a few days ago, but I am not sure if I should do anything else.
@Jaysen maybe you could help me?
Thanks!!
Does anyone have any advice on doing the LPC full time while working part time as a paralegal? I go to Cambridge so I’m used to a very high workload, but I’m not sure if it’s actually doable, or if if I would have to give up on everything to do it.
The paralegal job would potentially be with...
Hello!!
Just a quick note to say that after a horrendously busy year, I finish this cycle with one rejection post VS and a TC offer from Dentons, my top choice! I am not even ashamed to admit how many hours I spent on this forum rather than studying, and everyone’s help has been so so important...
Thank you so much everyone!
The firm is paying for the LPC, but I am international and I’m anxious the help they give won’t be enough to cover accommodation and living costs!
But thanks so much for all the information!
Hi guys! I have just been offered a TC with a firm I really really like, but I am quite worried about expenses during the LPC. I know firms offer some form of financial help, but I was considering trying to do the LPC LLM so I can access the postgrad loan. I have two questions:
1) would the...
I think that it's never good to devalue someone else's achievement - the process is so so tough, it is hard to believe those who make it are just 'lucky'. I am one of those undergrads who applied impulsively, without thinking I actually stood a chance, but that doesn't mean I didn't work hard as...
I had to do that quite recently, and I put down what I was interested in so I can see if it's a genuine, long-term, interest. I don't think the firm will or should judge you based on your preferences, but that's just my opinion!
Cambridge student here! Lmk if you need any help/info or just wanna chat about the uni and the city! Will be here next year if you wanna see a friendly face around!!
Hey! I am wondering if anyone can help with this - I am filling in the Watchgod screening form for a vac scheme, and I have no idea what sector of employment I should choose? Is it 'professional, technical, or 'information/communication', or something else? Thanks
Hey! This cycle I applied to 10 firms, got invited to three ACs and got two VC - I would defo say focusing on the quality of applications (at least that's what I did, but I am aware it is also a numbers game). I would say to vary the types of firms you are applying to as well!
I think my brain is just very tired, so I am trying to make sense of everything I read here - if I graduate in 2022 with a law degree, and I were to be offered a TC this year - could I still do the LPC? Thank you!
