My personal view: Don't pay for the LPC. If you get a TC, they will pay for you anyway. If you don't get a TC, you won't have wasted your money. Only do it if you're pretty god damn sure you're gonna get a TC, otherwise why put yourself in even more debt, it's not worth it. The legal training...- s.omething

Rejected by Dechert following VI. I knew I f*d the first question (out of only three), but not gonna lie, this one has hit me really hard today. I've only got two other firms to hear back from that I applied to in January (BCLP and Arnold & Porter*)- and I'm pretty sure from what some have said...- s.omething

Still waiting on Arnold & Porter vac scheme application. I got a final TC interview with them last year, and they said I did a really good interview (though I didn't get it) so I'll be super disappointed if this delay means I've been rejected outright.- s.omething

I finished the VI last week, obviously cannot give the exact questions (not sure the questions are exactly the same for every candidate anyway), but I can say that I got Qs asking me to show 1. you did your research on dechert, 2. commercial awareness, and 3. generic competency question.
