    I was rejected from Freshfields post WG last year and got a direct TC this year. Best thing to do is check with the firm. For example, I believe that Jones Day doesn’t allow people to reapply.

    Call from one of the interviewers (senior partner, competency interview). This might vary though. It was a very brief call just to let me know and to say that grad recruitment would follow up.

    I submitted quite late so I haven't heard back yet. I applied to the VS last year and received the invitation for the WG approx 3 weeks later. Hope that helps!

    I think it depends but I answered this question for an application before and I wrote approx 250/50 or 220/80 and made it to the AC.

    It wasn't a friend but two people in the forum that reacted to a comment that they had heard back. I only asked when they had heard back/when their AC was to get a better idea of timings. I didn't ask whether they got an offer directly.

    I've heard from 2 people who did their AC on the 3rd of March. One heard last week and the other this Monday. My AC was on the 10th. I initially thought they were waiting to finish all ACs but I was clearly wrong! I really have no clue how these things work lol.

    I'm not sure if they only started calling on Monday. Given that today is Wednesday and they are still carrying out ACs, I wouldn't think so. It seems that most people haven't heard back. I guess we should know soon!

    Ah, they might be! All I know is that somebody said that there was ACs up to this Friday. There's another whole week of March :)

    I don't think anybody has heard back but someone did ask during the AC and they said that latest would be first week of April. It seems that they are carrying out ACs until the end of this week and by the looks of it waiting to finish them all.
