    How come graduate recruitment don't seem to use 'dear Mr/Ms' anymore? It's always hi [first name] nowadays and I'm wondering what happened to the old form of address? Also, is it appropriate to send hi [first name] to graduate recruitment when you're initiating the email chain?

    Thanks for your input! I think this is a sensible option provided that it's difficult to find out exact figures unless you have contacts at the firms. I've managed to gauge a vague average from Glassdoor but it still feels like I'm missing the mark as to what I should put down.
