Seeing many enquiring about NRF Winter Vac Scheme. I received the telephone interview invite on 21 October and in the interview they said they will start sending AC invites out next week from 2 November.
Yes of course it is not about the pay, but unpaid leave is the only way she can work as a paralegal and complete 3 VS's in this case. I do work as a paralegal and sometimes even getting a week off might get problematic, but would you say that she should not ask and enquire because it is unlikely?
As far as the firm is concerned she is asking for unpaid leave for one vac scheme since the rest falls under her holiday entitlement, but of course they might not accept it as this will be a significant continuous absence. No harm in asking and finding out though.
I havent heard back yet either, but saw that somoene received an invite last year on 28 february (on another forum). Considering thats the date you can assume a rejection if you haven't heard back by, this might be the case this year as well.
Just received the VI invite from Bristows, if anyone has any insight on number of questions, time allowed and types of questions they have, I would be grateful!
No, it was just a standard rejection, the funny thing is I applied for the TC last year, which should be harder to get through as they mainly recruit through the VS. Although they encourage people to apply again, the fact that I failed in the phone interview stage last year might have something...
