I think the chances are really high - got to know from a past trainee. The firm doesn’t foster the spirit of competition amongst the vac schemers and future trainees so there isn’t much competition.
Ohh! I applied towards the end of November too but did not receive any mail in December. I just received a mail in January asking me if I have other offers as they are still reviewing my application. That's all.
But is Slaughter calling direct TC applicants for an interview even if it is scheduled in March?? Because I am a direct TC applicant and the HR mailed me asking if I have other offers but still hasn’t scheduled any interview.
Anyone heard back from the following:
1) Latham and Watkins
2) Ashurst
3) Dentons
4) Milbank
5) Linklaters
6) Goodwin
7) Vinson & Elkins???
I feel so ghosted right now.
I told the HR at Slaughter that I need to respond to another offer by 17th February so it would be great if they could expedite reviewing my application. They said okay they would get back to me ASAP - this was 10 days ago. :(
How many rejections are normal if someone has applied to say 25 law firms? Do good applications get 5+ shortlist for ACs?
I’m asking because I want to know if anyone has received shortlists after making changes to their application post rejections the year prior— to show that the changes did...
I am still waiting to hear back too. I got a mail from HR saying that they are still reviewing applications, and they asked me if I have other offers and when I have to respond to them. No interview is scheduled, though.
