Sorry to hear! I've found 99% of the time my 'safe' options are the ones that surprise me 🤣 and I actually tend to do better with apps for firms that push me out of my comfort zone a bit more. In my experience to get a foot in the door is email your CV and create a short but sweet ‘cover letter’ style email about why you like the firm and why you think you’d be a fit. I feel the same! I like that in an interview you have a little bit more control - so can clarify the question when needed and know exactly what they want. I think VIs you just have to try and do the best in the circumstances, and if that means choosing something less relevant and making it work...- Petallove1
