    Hey! Yes, I am pretty sure you can. They allow you to an open day + VS/TC :) You can email grad rec to ask if you're not sure, but I know people who attended open days in August and subsequently applied for vac schemes with the firm.

I just checked my Freshfields portal and saw that it said 'updated January 28th 2019', but previously it said '3rd January 2019'?     Skadden is also being quite confusing ahah. In my rejection email they stated that they received “an exceptionally high number of excellent apps”. But they reopened their vac schemes apps, extending the deadline till the 27th? Does anyone know why firms might do this?

    Just received a PFO from Skadden! Can’t say I am feeling too bugged out though, as I don’t think I was that passionate about the firm anyway. Also emailed HSF two days ago, to ask if I’d passed the test or not, and they didn’t reply, so maybe another PFO on the way??
