Hi there! It has now been a bit over a week since I posted here last, and to keep myself accountable, I am sharing how far did I get with my goals here.
The past week has been busy as I was balancing preparation for the citizenship test, looking for jobs and preparing for the next application...
Hi everyone!
I've been reading some TC threads on here, which inspired me to start my own! For some background, I just graduated from an RG uni with a 2:1. I've applied for vacation schemes in my second and third years but none of the applications passed the first stages. In hindsight, I was...
HL PFO this morning. this marks the last PFO of this application cycle! if we're talking stats, i got rejected from 100% of the firms i applied to. this is my second application cycle. i thought i'd feel extremely sad, but i guess i've built resilience over time (or it just hasn't hit me yet). i...
hi all! i need some advice about staying in contact with partners.
i had a meeting with a partner from one of the firms i'm interested in several months ago. i got this opportunity through a mutual contact. we had a great chat, he was very friendly, and i learned a lot about the firm and...
welcome to the grind :) it's relentless, but we persevere. so proud of you, and wishing you the best of luck!
re summer plans – i'm graduating (queue crying sound), so have to sort my life out, i guess. going to look for some jobs to keep myself afloat and get some more legal work experience...

I was thinking about that, because I also took a lot of time to complete it. Especially after an hour and a half my brain became mush. I misread the questions several times and couldn't come up with a correct answer to choose in an MCQ. Hopefully they don't look at the time as they mention that...
Trowers just closed applications for both VS and TC on Monday at 11:59 pm. They're probably just starting to look at them as they're recruiting on a non-rolling basis.
